Phase 1 - Planning and Preparation

Certain tasks must take place to get a localization project underway. 

Once these are completed, translation of the software (GUI) can begin. "Translation" in this diagram is defined as both translation and editing. 

Translation of the software is particularly important for consistency and quality throughout the project since the software is referenced by all other components of the product.
